MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING Portfolio Management PMO (Portfolio Program Level) Service Analytics IT Governance Data Compliance Role Summary The Portfolio Manager, will be responsible for aligning with business partners to understand the pipeline of work coming into the organization and translating into a demand plan across all functional areas IT, Finance, Marketing, HR, Facilities, Legal, etc. The Portfolio Manager is accountable for building a schedule for implementation of the full portfolio allocated in annual demand planning and working with business partners to select projects for execution according to those timelines. Specific milestones for project intake deliverables will be managed and monitored. The Portfolio Manager will monitor investment spend against plan at a portfolio level and will report regularly to business leadership on performance against the established plan. The position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments within the company and excellent communication and relationship management skills to influence and resolve issues. Responsibilities Duties Define and implement portfolio management policies and process and manage consolidated portfolio(s) across the enterprise. Build trusted and effective relationships working with project managers to ensure they deliver on-time, on-budget, on benefit and on-quality and intervene to resolve issues as required. Participate in discussions and activities regarding project funding, resourcing and prioritization while advocating for the business as it relates to programs and projects Facilitate request intake and ideation process Provide consistent and effective portfolio dashboards, scorecards and reports. Collaborate on analysis of in-flight and proposed projects. Assess general health of programsprojects including financial budgets. Ensure that projects within a portfolio are defined and managed to actualize the portfolio goals and the realization is monitored to measure portfolio success. Application of best practices for project portfolio execution and management. Ensure compliance with PMO standards and processes. Area coordination for project efforts that span across various team groups. Point of escalation for project stakeholders or requestors with issues directly related to project management. Developfoster relationships with project team members and external partners. Able to work independently and partners with application program managersdirectors, stakeholders and system level subject matter experts to drive the work of the project team for large or highly integrated projects and programs. Acts as a professional leader providing guidance and direction to the projectprogram team members as necessary.Improves PMO services and overall quality of projects. Required Qualifications BSBA degree or Masterrsquos Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance or related field. PMP andor PMI Methodologies certified or 5 years of formal project management experience. Successfully managed a large portfolio (+100 active projects) with multiple business stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization including managing through cross-business area or business unit prioritization discussions. Experience in implementing and maintaining accurate key performance measures relating to PMO and project management best practices such as building work breakdown structures, WaterfallAgileScrum methodologies, etc. experience with traditional SDLC methodologies. Must be proficient in Microsoft Project and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and possess solid computer skills. Willingness to travel. International work experience. Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement disciplines. Strong analytical problem solving skills. Team Player ndash demonstrates ability to work as part of a team of professional and willingness to give assistance to co-workers to achieve departmental goals. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities and deadlines.
