Human Resources/Controller

Our very well-known company is looking for a Human Resource Manager/Controller to lead out team to the next growth of successful business ventures. This position reports to the President of our company. Responsible for all aspects of the accounting, finance, financial reporting, payroll and HR functions. This position will manage, lead, and mentor a team of accounting and HR employees and requires great interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with different levels of management within the organization. • Preparation of Management reports and participation in weekly management (EOS) Meetings • Run Department EOS meetings and help shape and develop goals for department • Responsible for accuracy and completeness of accounting reports and records • Manage the Accounts Payable Department • Manage the Accounts Receivable Department • Oversee Payroll function • Oversee General Ledger and monthly account reconciliations • Prepare Quarterly and Annual Payroll Tax Returns and W-2s • Compliance duties such as Business License Renewals • Prepare reports as requested by banks, insurance companies, and government agencies. • Manager of Human Resources Department, including approving and participating in all employee terminations, • Process and Pay Confidential AP- Insurance, legal, etc. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Bachelor•s degree in finance or accounting and 5 to 10 years• experience, or relevant work experience in a related environment, is preferable. • Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills • Accounting skills and knowledge • QuickBooks • Problem solving skills and the ability to spot errors • Strong computer aptitude; intermediate MS Excel • Manufacturing experience preferred • General Ledger & Accrual Accounting • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Supplemental Pay: • Bonus pay Experience: • Controller Level: 5 years (Required) • QuickBooks: 5 years (Required) • AR & AP: 5 years (Required) • Payroll: 5 years (Required) AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
