The CFO’s core task will be finding funding for the rapid growth of our various club brands throughout the U.S.
The CFO will have day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.
This will include direct responsibility for accounting, payroll, financial planning & analysis, billing & collections and accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities includeProvides leadership in the development and measurement of strategic financial objectives.Finds sources of funding for franchise and multi-unit developments within the hospitality/fitness sector.Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions ofthe organization.Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and Business Intelligence for the Company and monitor/report on the progressProvide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.Support M& A initiatives from a financial and strategic aspectServe as the financial management liaison to parent company and CEOEnsure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.Review company’s processes and recommend ways to streamline operations to support rapid growth.Mentor and develop staff.Manage insurance programs and coordinate with risk management to protect company.
Competencies & Qualifications:BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA desirable 15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles within the hospitality, retail, and/or multi-unit industry.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.Hands-on leader willing to work alongside staff, not just direct them.Frequent travel to our Dallas office expected.
