General Ledger Accountant

Search Heights is partnered with a hospitality group with over 250 locations in the search for 2 General Ledger Accountants.

Ideal candidates will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits.

Candidates must be highly organized, dedicated, have a strong sense of urgency and be happy doing the easy tasks as well as adapting to change.

A strong desire to grow not only in this role but within the company is a must Responsibilities: Prior GL Accounting experience of 2 to 5 years or more Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs Create Journal Entries, conduct bank reconciliations and more Compile and analyze financial statements Manage budgeting and forecasting Possess advanced Excel skills This role reports to the Accounting Manager Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; experience in lieu of degree Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Open to a hybrid work schedule (2 days in-office and 3 days working from home from the Las Vegas metro area) Compensation/Benefits/Job Type: Compensation range: $60-75k/year for qualified candidates, depending on experience Benefits: package includes 401k match, life insurance and tuition assistance Job type: full-time, direct hire, salaried Applicants must live in the Las Vegas metro area
