Founded in 1999, for over 20 years we have funded the future of medicine and prudently managed the wealth entrusted with us by our investors.Summary:We are looking for a fund accountant to add to our successful team, reporting directly to the CFO.The ideal candidate must be an experienced energetic self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are mandatory as the position involves constant interaction with colleagues, clients, and business associates in person, on the telephone, and via email. We are looking for a motivated, organized and inquisitive individual with a demonstrated interest in the investment field. This position offers opportunity for growth in both salary and responsibilities depending on job performance.Responsibilities:· Responsible for daily cash reconciliation of portfolios to the appropriate custodian bank or prime broker;· Responsible for monthly account reconciliation of domestic and international equities to the appropriate custodian bank or broker;· Resolves trading and settlement issues by communicating with trading support personnel as well as counterparty contacts when needed;· Assist in performance analysis of portfolios;· Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports sent to clients;· Assist in the preparation of annual audited financial statements and tax schedules;· Various back office related tasks;· Assist with special projects as needed.Requirements:· BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance;· 2+ years of private equity or hedge fund accounting/operations experience and/or public accounting experience;· CPA a plus;· Proficient/strong in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications;· Knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks, preferred but not required;· Organized and detail oriented;· Excellent written and communication skills;· Good at multi-tasking and working in a small team.Job Types: Full-time, ContractBenefits:• Dental insurance• Health insurance• Vision insuranceSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Monday to FridayWork Location:• One locationWork Remotely:• Temporarily due to COVID-19
