Financial Product Manager, Ancillary Services

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

Curacao currently has an opening for a Financial Product Manager reporting to the VP of Business Development and responsible for the growth, development plans and execution of strategies to achieve revenue targets in the ancillary services programs offered to existing credit and lending customers. This Product Manager roles acts as the product subject matter expert and maximizes product and program opportunities for the company as we introduce and expand customer enrollment into new products and service. The manager also assures policies and product training are current, compliant, and well executed.  This role also contributes to formulation of financial forecasts targeting revenue goals and works closely with other company departments to achieve these revenue goals, and overall makes data-driven business decisions. This role is very focused on product and services growth through all of our digital and retail store channels.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

·      Growth of existing and new products/services by optimizing ancillary service sales

·      Use financial analysis to improve the lifecycle of products/services and ensure metrics of growth are achieved

·      Preparation and tracking of financial forecasts targeting revenue goals by ancillary product

·      Prepare analysis of campaign sales opportunities, channel performance, key performance indicators (KPI)

·      Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience yielding high customer satisfaction (CSAT)

·      Understand the company’s full capability, expertise, strength, weakness, resources, priority, market position and future direction, so he/she can combine the company’s capability with the market trend to derive the best result for the company.

·      Collaborate with Marketing Department to develop and manage of marketing communications, including campaigns to effectively promote the services

·      Lead training and education of the contact center and retail store staff through regular updates and improvements of training courses in our electronic university system, as well as retail store on-site and online training sessions

·      Co-develop with store and digital management teams strategies to address low performance KPI or other product needs

·      Ensure compliance according to any company or regulatory requirements

·      Audit contact center servicing communications as related to these ancillary services to ensure effective and compliant handling of such communications leveraging in-house quality control team

·      Study related industry trends, identifying and recommending potential future new product and program concepts that will re-enforce the company’s market position and meets its long-term goals.

·      Follow Company policies and procedures

·      Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

 

· Bachelor’s degree required: applied economics, finance, math, business or related field

·      Analytical abilities to effectively think through a problem, recognizing, securing and evaluating relevant facts; and reaching sound conclusions. Identify and utilize appropriate resources to assist in problem identification and resolution process.

· Experience in sales, account management, or product management is a plus

·      Experience in digital, virtual and/or social selling platforms is helpful

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required

· Must have ability to prepare and present analysis, reports and written materials in a professional manner. 

· MS Office systems (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required

· Basic coding knowledge preferred but not required (no particular coding language preferred)

·      Time management capable of establishing and managing priorities, planning activities, and meeting deadlines.

· Leveraging virtual/video technology knowledge (Zoom, MS Teams, video)
