Our client in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support the Financial Planning and Analysis team.
The right individual will possess solid business judgment capable of driving results, a strong analytical mindset, exceptional excel/systems skills, great attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
He or she will have demonstrated the ability to operate in a fast-paced, work with legal professionals, results-oriented environment.
This role also has regular interaction with legal professionals and various business units across the firm requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities As a Financial Analyst, you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases.
Support month-end, quarterly, annual operating financial processes working cross-functionally with various teams, including finance, FP&A, accounting and business development team Maintain dynamic worksheets, reports, and processes to efficiently accumulate and report relevant Firm data in a documented, repeatable fashion Analyze current and past financial sales data and performance to forecast and make recommendations on gross profit data enhancement Prepare presentations to the Board of Directors and Management Provide financial insights that help the decision-making process, and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget.
Analyze business needs, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the company Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
MBA preferred 3-7 years of experience in business and financial analysis Advanced Excel and Technical skills Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective interpersonal and consultative skills Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy Willing to work onsite in the office & occasional overtime and weekends
