nnDuties and responsibilities:nn nn n nn nn-Prepare monthly, annual, and other periodic GAAP compliant financial statementsnn nn-Reconcile monthly activity from supporting systems (inventory and sales system, general ledger)nn nn-Supervise month end balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis including cash, inventory, accounts payable and accounts receivablenn nn-Analyze and monitor performance metric fluctuations including revenue, COGS, and operating expensesnn nn-Evaluate and enhance organizational financial systems, processes and controls, and make recommendations as needednn nn-Ensure external document submissions and filings are timely and accurately; coordinate tax reporting requirementsnn nn n nn nn n nn nn n nn nnSkills and Qualificationsnn nn n nn nn-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldnn nn-10+ years of relevant accounting experiencenn nn-Current working knowledge of GAAP nn nn-Ability to work with an international accounting team and prioritize based on evolving workloadnn nn-Must have experience in financial planning and analysis for e-commerce business; coaching and developing accounting staff; creating financial processes and procedures; inventory costing using weighted average cost;nn nn-Required systems experience with Quickbooks Online, strong MS Excel skills, Shopify; experience in Apparel Magic preferrednn nn-Preferred experience: Apparel Magic, ecommerce startup environment, wholesalenn nn n nn
