-New York, NY AKAM Associates, New York’s premier residential property management company is seeking the talents of an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team.Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following: Reviewing the monthly financials Communicating with the Board Treasurer and Board President regarding financial position Investing clients’ funds as directed by the Board Preparing and presenting budgets Reviewing new account financial files that have been transferred to AKAM to ensure we have copies of all documents and ensure all funds are transferred to AKAM Attend Board meetings as well as annual meetings Assist with the annual audits Special projects Candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be considered: 3 to 5 years in a Financial Analyst role in a property management company Experince in dealing with the monthly financial statements of coops/condos specifically in NYC Must be articulate and have the ability to multi-task Effective oral and written communication skills and computer knowledge are essential Knowledge of BJ Murray system a plus We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k).
