How you will make an impact

– Very likely have to describe hard financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects

– Stay updated on the preliminaries of monthly financial reporting and other business data

– Capable of assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits

– Aid in monitoring and maintaining internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

– Integrate and check budgets and income statement forecasts

– Lend a hand in assorted aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)

– Review and query a sizable amounts of data

– Construct clever alternatives and suggestions to reduce costs and nurture financial performance of a company

– Aid in annual budgeting process

– Determine veritable results at the corporate and division levels

– Be instrumental in ensuring adequate controls and procedures

Job Requirements:
– Excellent attention to detail
– Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
– Adeptness in financial analysis
– Experience with Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
– Expertise in Microsoft Excel
– Excel Formulas experience
– Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
– Sage Intacct experience
– Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
– Accomplished computer skills are a must. This includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
– BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
– Can work independently with minimal supervision
