The Financial Advisor is the cornerstone of the comprehensive wealth management relationship and must demonstrate a broad base of knowledge across all functions of the investment advisory business. Fundamental knowledge of the investment markets, asset allocation, estate and tax planning, and insurance is key. Equally important, the Financial Advisor is responsible for developing, supporting, and managing client relationships and therefore must have strong interpersonal skills. Proactive networking will be crucial to a candidate’s success, as well as contributing to Bel Air’s culture of innovation, enthusiasm, respect, and uncompromising ethics.Responsibilities:• Source new clients by identifying business owners likely to experience or who have already experienced liquidity events.• Build referral networks with trusted attorneys, accountants, business managers and investment bankers, also known as centers of influence.• Contribute to your community in a positive and constructive way with high-impact engagement, allowing your personal brand and that of the firm’s to be genuinely and favorably enhanced.• Systematically contact clients and prospective clients with relevant and timely information regarding market updates that may affect their investments.• Assist with analyses and preparation of prospective and current clients’ investments and wealth planning.• Conduct in-depth client reviews regularly to build confidence in our process and keep clients apprised of progress toward long-term goals.• Strong follow-through and follow-up skills to monitor progress and achieve results.• Self-motivated and relentless in seeking solutions and answers.• Adheres to and is knowledgeable regarding regulatory requirements.The Person:The candidate should have strong professional verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate self and others to deliver high quality output. The position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including select travel, and offers an attractive development path within Bel Air Investment Advisors LLC.Required Skills/Experience:• Minimum 3-5 years direct experience in cultivating high net worth relationships within finance, legal or accounting industries.• BS degree required; CFP, CIMA, CPA is helpful• Series 7 License; 65 or 66 licenses preferred• Good knowledge of markets across various asset classes• Team player able to work in a collegial and close collaboration environment• High integrity is vitalOther details• Pay Type Salary
