You are:
A talented manager excited to usher in a new era of digital finance with experience leading projects and/or teams. You’re a problem-solver with the keen ability to diagnose a client’s unique needs. You can see the gap between where they are and where they need to be, and love creating a blueprint to get them there.
The work:
– Help clients modernize their finance functions by consulting with internal and external teams to understand strategy and goals, then managing your teams’ workflows
– Identify, assess and solve complex business problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
– Create strategies and blueprints that use machine learning to improve operations and refine processes (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report)
– Develop Operating Model strategies by assessing a client’s business challenges/needs/gaps, diagnosing the root problems and recommending an approach leveraging Accenture assets.
– Walk clients through digital transformations, help them find operational efficiencies and new revenue streams (FinTech apps, blockchain technology, virtual & augmented reality)
– Find Cloud ERP and EV solutions for clients and share best practices across the industry
– Attract new business by creating thoughtful proposals and building strong client relationships
– Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership Stay on top of current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing digital finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem
– Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, manage account receivables, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
– Manage teams of diverse backgrounds, skill sets and technical/functional knowledge. Encourages creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition. Works across the global CFO & Enterprise Value practice to share lessons learned and best practices.
– Implement and execute structured decision-making. Act independently to determine best possible methods and procedures to deliver against CFO & Enterprise Value assignments.
– For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. Qualifications
Here’s what you need:
– 5+ years of finance and management consulting experience. Experience must include significant project management as well as business, practice, and people development.
– Minimum 5+ years’ experience with finance functions (analytics, forecasting, core finance), including operating models, supporting organization structures, and process best practices
– Bachelor’s degree
Bonus points if:
– You have experience with Strategic Cost Reduction or Zero-Based solutions, and/or a Corporate Function in a strategic planning and performance capacity.
– Shared Services/Business Services design or operations management.
– You’ve implemented finance, accounting, planning, forecasting, or reporting solutions with clients
– You’re comfortable with ERP technology and know your way around SAP, Oracle, Workday
– You’ve worked with these FinTech solutions: Anaplan, Cognos, Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau, and Fusion
– You’ve got an MBA or another type of advanced degree
