– Reporting & Analysis Salary: up to $125KJob Description:Prepare, review and post Journal entries, G/L maintenance and variance analysisAssist the VP Finance in preparing timely and accurate financial statements for both US and Consolidated CompanyPrepare intelligent business analysis and commentaries (Budget vs.
Actuals, Forecasts)Exposure to FPAssist with Board Presentation packManage and supervise daily treasury functions, including preparation of monthly bank reconciliations Prepare and submit weekly reports for lender compliance and related analysisOwn Profit Margin Analysis (COGS, reserves, variances) and prepare adequate analysisTimely submission of corporate filings; including but not limited to Sales & Use tax, etc.Assist in development, process improvements, and implementation of new procedures as necessaryAssist with audits and other ad hoc projectsDrive functional efficiencies and add value; Coach and mentor team membersThis is a truly global role with exposure to international markets and business analysisSupervise a team of Staff Accountants Qualifications:5+ years accounting, financial reporting experience required 2+in public accounting experience and2+ years in supervisory capacity preferredBachelor’s degree Business/Accounting/ Finance required; CPA preferred but not requiredAbility to communicate with Executives and be the Right Hand to VP FinanceExperience with inventory required (wholesale, e-commerce retail, manufacturing, consumer products industry)Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systemsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to multitask, has sharp decision-making skills, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with ability to recommend solutions to business issues and process improvementsSelf-driven, value adding approach and a “can do” attitude
