Finance Intern

ProducePay is transforming the fresh produce industry by giving more power to farmers through a transparent marketplace, flexible financing, and better market insights.

ProducePay is looking for a Finance Intern to work with our Corporate Finance team helping with financial reporting, research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial reports and client-related reports.
  • Track contracts and assist with producing accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Work with the engineering team on building out the platform.
  • Other finance, Admin, and Accounting tasks as needed.
  • Processing and depositing check payments received, and performing document verification and credit exposure checks on a daily basis.
  • Receiving, mailing, and handling legal documents.

Requirements

  • Full-time, at least 3 times a week, and 8 hours per day.

    At least 3-month commitment

  • Extremely detail-oriented with solid understanding of business and accounting principles
  • Advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables, macros, etc.
  • Must be working towards (or have completed) a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting
