About the Role Responsible for all inventory accounting functions, including duties associated with the monthly financial close, maintaining a strong internal control environment, maintaining the accuracy of physical inventory and providing insight surrounding inventory and COGS.

This position requires excellent analytical skills, WMS/ERP system skills, experience in inventory management and the ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Ensure the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of month end close activities for inventory, related inventory reserves and COGS, including journal entries, account reconciliations and roll-forwards.

Properly account for all COGS transactions.

Provide management effective understanding and analysis of inventory and COGS, including analysis of reserves for markdowns and shrink.

Analyze and ensure accuracy of Inventory data across WMS (Jasci), Cost system (RetailOps) and Financial System (Netsuite).

Act as main point of contact for the Fulfillment Center and stores with regards to discrepancies in inventory and any adjustments required.

Coordinate the cycle count process at the Fulfillment Center and quarterly inventories at the stores.

Monitor all inventory movement types at the distribution center.

Ensure practices are in place to prepare and maintain schedules and supporting documentation needed for the annual external audit.

Ad Hoc reporting and analytical support for Warehouse, Merchandising and Operations teams.

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

5-7 years of experience in inventory accounting and control within eCommerce and store retail environments.

Solid accounting and finance foundation surrounding inventory and COGS.

Previous ERP systems experience is required, NetSuite experience is preferred.

Advanced Excel skills are required.
