Summary:

Our award winning client is looking for a Product Marketing Director to join their growing firm. In this role you will function as a leader in the marketing department and have the opportunity to develop marketing strategy and lead a cross-functional team of marketing, business development, and practice line leaders and office management partners to help develop products and services for existing and new verticals and geographical regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading Managing and Holding People Accountable (LMA)
  • Developing services to sell to potential clients
  • Driving short and long-term marketing strategies
  • Develop the marketing strategy and plan for existing or new products/services leveraging the ecosystem, including defining market opportunities and strategic choices about positioning and messaging.
  • Partner with the product line leaders, business group heads, regional office managers and marketing to develop both qualitative and quantitative insights to clarify the value proposition and drive market positioning and messaging.
  • Lead development of customer segmentation and ecosystem wide prospect and drive organizational education and adoption.
  • Identify existing or new products with potential for expanding across industrial verticals or geographical markets that solve customer problems. Define the go to market strategy, identify channel partners, and create actionable strategy with repeatable operational processes. Define tiering structure and identify which ecosystem components would augment the value proposition or should be packaged together.
  • Partner with analytics, research and business operations to define ecosystem customer benefit metrics and champion improvement of these metrics across the organization.
  • Actively analyze business data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive product refinement and business results.
  • Identify partners and channels as appropriate for each customer segment group.
  • Grow and develop a high performing team of product marketing managers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5 or more years of marketing experience, including 2 plus years of building and leading teams, bringing new offerings and services to market and driving revenue & customer growth.
  • Experience with consulting, CPA or accounting service organizations is a huge plus.
  • Experience in marketing professional services, financial products or solutions to medium and large size businesses helpful.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Accounting, Engineering or any major with consulting and/or professional services background).
  • MBA a plus.
  • IT services or fintech software and solution backgrounds will be considered.
  • Experience developing and leading the end-to-end product commercialization strategy, including defining targeted market and customer segmentation, value propositions, messaging and pricing.
  • Strong research capability with experience using design thinking and scientific methodologies to inform decision making
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear examples of using data actively for customer insights, measurement, ROI analysis and recommendations.
  • Experience with product strategy refinement through marketing data and customer feedback is mandatory
  • Very strong prioritization and influencing skills in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment; Proactive and results-oriented with excellent follow-through skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong track record of leadership and people management, including influencing in a high-growth, fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Overtime required throughout the year
