The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a critical leadership position where you will lead a team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis at the corporate level.
The position will report to the Senior Director of Finance.
FP&A at Point B is much more than dollars and analytics, it is about building relationships across the organization to increase trust, partnership, and create one shared source of truth.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Lead company’s annual financial planning process, and monthly and quarterly forecasting with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
Perform sensitivity analysis to understand potential outcomes and highlight major assumptions
Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain and create metrics to assess the company’s fiscal performance and health
Grow analysis capabilities with a focus on predictive metrics and data to monitor health across the company
Provide critical insights and data analysis to business partners in order to improve the probability of achieving both short-term and longer-term financial outcomes
Execute long-term planning and costs management in alignment with Point B’s strategic plan
Partner with Accounting team in planning and analysis, seeking out opportunity to increase visibility and understanding across teams of critical metrics and performance impacts
Partner with Senior Director of Finance to ensure FP&A team is driving strategic priorities forward and meeting critical business needs
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, profitability, or company value
Manage, develop, coach, and lead a team of high performing FP&A team members
Provide direction, prioritization, and clarification to team members, as necessary
Ensure high levels of associate engagement, satisfaction, and career development opportunities
Inspire, motivate, and model financial best practices as a steward of Point B and its culture
Identify hiring needs and lead hiring processes when required
Understand system capabilities and availability technology; ensure that the company is utilizing existing and new technology to maximize value and efficiency of the FP&A team
Optimize standard rhythm of the business FP&A processes, create consistency across team
Leveraging technology, identify and prioritize processes or areas that have opportunity for optimization and execute on project plans to make these improvements
Provide direct support and leadership for industry specific financial requests
Participate in a wide variety of special projects
Provide training on usage of tools and reports

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:
A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other relevant field
CPA and MBA or equivalent preferred
12+ years related experience
4+ years of industry experience, professional services experience highly desirable
Proven technical aptitude and well-versed in a variety of financial systems (Salesforce desirable)
Strong leader with solid experience building and leading high performing teams and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and stay flexible through growth and change
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capable of communicating complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format.
Able to interact comfortably and drive alignment with the executive leadership team
Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and a highly collaborative environment with a high growth, can-get-done mentality.
This role is for doers; be able to get into the details and get the job done while at the same time being able to see the forest for the trees
Ability to manage existing business processes, while introducing process improvements to increase organizational efficiencies and effectiveness
Hold the highest standards for accuracy and ethics for yourself and your team but also recognize how to balance accuracy and urgency
Ability to operate successfully within a ‘virtual’ company
Ability to work from home office
Travel to support industries, geographic markets, networking, and general business management
