The Opportunity The Director of Finance will work closely with the CEO, Executive Leaders, and other department heads to manage accounting, tax and financial reporting, budgeting and budget tracking, banking, payroll, and AR/AP functions within MDC sources.
The Director of Finance will have a prominent seat at the table in driving the direction of the business and recommending processes and initiatives to drive financial profitability for the long term.
The ideal candidate will perform all financial modeling and analytical work independently and exhibit solid written and verbal communication skills to deliver complex Analysis in an easy-to-understand format.

Responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cash forecasting processes Prepare monthly financial reports and notes for the CEO Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Manage accounting systems (software, internal processes, etc.) Financial Planning and Cash Flow Analysis Monitor bank activity Manage cash flow/ Track Company spending Ensure all bills are paid and all cash receipts are deposited promptly Long-Range Financial Planning Business Case/Business Risk Analysis Congestion Pricing Strategy Dev.
& Analysis Economic Impact Analysis Portfolio / Capital Program Optimization Special projects as assigned by Executive Director Qualifications Client-facing, outgoing, sales-oriented personality; a program builder and growth-oriented mindset preferred Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of financial data and reports Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks/deadlines, and adapt to changes Strong organization and problem-solving skills Demonstrated strategic thinker able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment Ability to communicate effectively and explain vital financial concepts to individuals without accounting knowledge Familiarity/experience with the MLM industry is a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills 15 years of related, progressively responsible roles Master’s degree in a related field, i.e., MBA, Finance, etc.
