Director, Financial Reporting

This newly created role will be responsible for supporting The Wonderful Company's financial reporting requirements and overall compliance with U.S.

and international reporting standards as well as having a focus on FIJI Water's International financial reporting requirements.

The Director, Financial Reporting is an amazing career growth position for a finance leader looking to expand their responsibility and gain exposure to business executives across the enterprise.The Wonderful Finance Way:* Direct the quarterly accounting close and related financial statements for multiple global subsidiaries, business units, specifically up to 50% time on FJIJ Water, and the parent Company, The Wonderful Company* Support the completion of the quarterly consolidation file and develop the consolidated financial statements –
– including the Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and related Statement of Equity* Prepare and/or review tie-out documentation for all external reporting and prepare annual disclosure checklists* Resolve accounting issues involving consolidation, Noncontrolling Interests, Equity Accounting, IFRS 16, ASC 842, etc.* Partner with the FIJI Water Group Controller and liaise with local accounting teams to lead the reporting process* Review 25 statutory audit reports for our FIJI Water Group companies and provide 2nd level review for statutory financial reports in other business units* Research, analyze and conclude on technical accounting issues, including the preparation of memorandums regarding the Company's position in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner* Support management of external audit from planning phase to timely report issuance for 13 separate audit reports from 10 different business units, including:* Detailed review of all audit reports* Drafting all footnotes* Review lender reporting and compliance computations* Lead special projects on technical issues as needed, providing training and guidance for business unit accounting teams* Provide a high level of customer service to our supported business units and corporate departmentsThe Wonderful You:* Proven success in financial reporting for multi-national, consumer product companies, ensuring statements are completed in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards* Ability to lead, motivate and partner across business units and departments to manage the reporting process and successfully resolve issues that may arise* Demonstrated understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, including consolidation, equity accounting, noncontrolling interests, business combinations and cash flows* Must possess technical experience related to implementation of new accounting standards including Revenue Recognition, Leases, and CECLs* Prior experience in active drafting of financial reports and related footnotes* Proven problem-solving skills –
