Robert Half Finance and Accounting is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in the North Hollywood, CA area to fill a Cost Accounting Manager role. This position is an on-site role for someone looking to grow and advance within their career with a financially stable division of a larger parent company. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is resourceful and has an analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
Your responsibilities as a Cost Accounting Manager:
- Perform standard cost accounting functions and related analysis
- Lead physical inventory and manage the cycle count
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly management reporting
- Develop and manage inventory plan
- Analyze PPV, MUV, and Routing Variances
- Various accounting tasks such as journal entries, accruals, account reconciliation, and variance analyses
Requirements for the Cost Accounting Manager position:
- 2+ years of cost accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including macros, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and analytical tools such as VBA
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related field
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation for the Cost Accounting Manager position is $90,000 to $110,000 (depending on experience), plus quarterly bonuses and a good benefits package.
