Classification: Corporate Tax Staff Accountant
Compensation: $23.75 to $27.50 hourly
Los Angeles based financial services firm is in need for a experience in detail oriented to come on board and become part of the growing team. The primary duties of this position is to assist and generate purchase orders, identify and monitor invoices that come in, research expenses and get approval from manager to process. This entry level Accountant will have solid excel skills and have one year of related experience and willing to roll up their sleeves, help out administratively and is eager to learn and grow. A degree in finance and/or accounting a must!
Job Requirements:
– Preferred education is a BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business – 3+ years of experience within tax or tax accounting – Experience with public and private tax returns – 2+ years of experience as a staff accountant is preferred – Experience using excel formulas such as pivot tables and vlookups is highly preferred – Experience utilizing a large Accounting software/ERP in a previous role is also highly preferred
