Ideally you have prior experience in a highly entrepreneurial environment, preferably in the cryptocurrency space. Key Responsibilities Accounting Ownership of all accounting functions within the company Working with the CFO designing and preparing interim internal financial reporting Be the primary contact for outside auditors and tax preparers Maintain and upgrade accounting systems to provide relevant data to management and investors Support the CFO on ad hoc projects and processes as needed Product Control Daily analysis and reporting of PnL by product and trading desk throughout the firm Prepare weekly estimated PnL numbers Work directly with trading teams to improve trade reporting and other accounting processes Support daily trade reconciliation operations Identify flaws and suggest process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of trade reconciliation process Key Attributes Strong personal communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts in laymanrsquos terms Outstanding timely decision making, process management, planning and execution skills Entrepreneurial proactive mindset that is confident and mentally flexible Ability to deal with ambiguity powerfully, listen intently, persevere through unique challenges, and drive for impactful results while being approachable and team-oriented Willingness to take on anything to move the company forward, not just in the accounting function Job Requirements Accounting Degree plus over 8 yearsrsquo experience in Product Control and Legal Entity Accounting Sound understanding of trading PnL components and the trade reconciliation process Cryptocurrency markets knowledge including trade reconciliation within those markets System conversion experience preferred Compensation 150,000 base plus bonus and equity based on firm and individual performance This job description reflects the core activities and attributes of the role.
