International professional services firm with 20 offices worldwide, seeks a Senior Accounting Analyst for its Los Angeles or Orange County Offices.
The new member to the team will be an integral part of the accounting department responsible for, but not limited to:Support the month-end and year-end close process, including reviewing journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules; Prepare and present financial analyses, reports, and recommendations to managementAssist with financial statement, tax, and compliance auditsCreate best practice procedures for accounting activities and drive process improvements, utilizing technology to improve efficiency; As an advanced user of the accounting and accounts payable software systems, provide training to end users, configure and test updates, and troubleshoot issues; Contribute to department and firmwide special projects, collaborating with key personnel in various departments as appropriate; Assist with financial statement, tax, and compliance audits; QualificationsThis position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, superior attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.The candidate must have strong technology skills, including intermediate to expert level Excel skills, and ability to master and leverage accounting systems and new technology solutions.EXPERIENCEA four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.3+ years of relevant accounting experience, with Big 4 experience /Big Regional Accounting firm preferred.Experience designing and implementing process changes preferred.CPA license a plus.
