Construction Accountant for Abranova Building Company, Inc.

Location: 16 W Martin Street Raleigh, NC 27601 Salary: $35,000-$45,000 Number of Hires for this role: 1 Job Type: Full Time Qualifications GAAP: 1 year (preferred, but not required) CPA (preferred, but not required) Accounting 3 years (preferred, but not required) Company Description Abranova is a full-stack real estate investment and construction development company.

The core mission of the company is to democratize real estate development by providing investment opportunities to everyone through our real estate crowdfunding platform.

Job Description Abranova Building Company needs a construction accountant to manage finances of the company, generate financial reports, and manage the project cash flow for multiple construction projects.

Responsibilities Accounting operations of the company include: Communicate routinely on a variety of job-related topics including bonding, insurance, cash flow as well as contract agreements.

Participate in the formation and implementation of company financial plans.

Preparation of all monthly financial reports.

Work with outside accounting/financial firms on monthly close-out procedures.

Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions.

Work with staff to ensure proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing and analyzing job cost estimates and reports monthly.

Creating new accounting/operations procedures to prepare and manage rapidly growing entities and the evolving business structure.

Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including banks, title companies, etc.

that will support and grow the business.

Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends in written accounting procedures.

Information management including database analysis like QuickBook.

Provide clerical/administrative support for the project team as requested.

Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with the design team, builder, site operations and some directly managed vendors.
