Opening a new hotel in the Los Angeles Area and looking for great talents!Overview: Accounting Manager is responsible to ensure that documents and data are accurate and correctly processed through various accounting systems according to established standards.

Updates computerized management information systems and produces various accounting reports.Education & Experience: 2 years of prior hotel finance/accounting experience is preferred.High School diploma or GED certification required.College degree is preferred, and/or equivalent work experience.Proven financial knowledge and computer skills required.Job Description: Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Company standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes proper dress and correct nametag when working.Comply at all times with Company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and other team members.Oversee the AP process to ensure deadlines for posting and check issuing are met and in accordance with 11th Edition Uniform System of AccountingAccounts Payable Processing, verification, and reconciling invoices per Company Standard Operating Procedures.Assist Accounting Manager with month end accruals and journal entries.Perform financial data analysis.Communicate directly w/Front Office and F& B team members on any training issues concerning Income Audit.Submit Income Journal Daily into M3.Assist with performing monthly cashier bank counts.Provide coverage for Income Audit, AR, and General Cashier functions as business needs require.Assist with balance sheet asset and liability reconciliations.Assist with processing all tax packets to corporate for month end reporting.Perform other duties as requested by management.Attend meetings/training as required by managementConfidential provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)Hotel: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
