An investment manager with a large real estate portfolio is looking for a C#.Net Quantitative Developer with strong technology skills, residential real estate finance knowledge, and experience with web development.
The team is looking for smart, dedicated people who want to help support a rapidly growing real estate debt and equity investment business.
Using custom-built tools and technologies, the team has already helped the residential whole loan portfolio triple in size over two years’ time.
As the focus shifts to the commercial and REIT sectors of the business, the sky is the limit.
The role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities: The team develops and enhances technology tools and performs analytics and valuation on commercial real estate and REIT sectors of the firms portfolio holdings Write code in C# that ingests and exports data to/from Excel and Microsoft databases Use Microsoft SQL to manipulate, aggregate, analyze and display databased data Migrate Excel models into C# code for the firm’s website application Develop and enhance back end and front-end attributes to a .Net website application Manipulate and move data into and out of Snowflake database warehouses Requirements: 3 years of relevant experience BS in a quantitative field (advanced degrees preferred but not required) Must have a solid understanding and familiarity with residential real estate, REITs, Commercial Real Estate, RMBS and/or whole loan trading Must have experience working with complex Excel data, manipulating data using SQL and writing code in C#, or some other object-orientated coding language Experience working with Microsoft T-SQL Databases Must be a strong user of one or more of these: T-SQL, Oracle SQL or Snowflake SQL Keywords: C# Developer, Residential Real Estate, Whole Loans, Web Development, Snowflake, Microsoft T-SQL, REMOTE Please send your resume to Jim Geiger jeganalyticrecruiting.com
