but our greatest investment is in you!The Shipping Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate preparation of collateral packages, boarding loans to servicer and satisfying all post-closing diligence conditions.What you’ll do:Reviews and audits funded loans 24 hours after the loan has funded to prepare for boarding.Identifies deficiencies or if document corrections are needed.

Determines if collateral is ready for boarding.Reviews funded loans and determines all conditions are satisfied and loan is ready to board.

Pulls appropriate images and uploads into a secure SFTP site.Boards loans to Servicer and works with Asset Management on satisfying all servicing questions.Researches and reviews boarding issues from Asset Managers/Fay.

Notifies Shipping Manager of any errors or critical issues that would impact the salability of loans.Organizes trailing documents, identifies collateral location and prepares for shipping by generating a manifest; informs custodian of the tracking number.Reports trends and/or audit issues found for end of month reporting to SS IV.Although SS I does not distribute mail, will assist as a back-up to the Mail Clerk as needed.Communicates and escalates any issues to SS IV.

Collaborates with other business units with tracking and obtaining supporting documentation to reconcile conditions.Supports development of peers and self.What you’ll need:Associates’ Degree from an accredited college required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or a combination of education and experience.1-2 years of mortgage banking or mortgage post-closing experience required.Working knowledge and use of MS Office and internet.Experience working with LOS Encompass a plus.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsFlexible with the ability to adapt to change quicklyPossesses the ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving skillsShows strong initiativeWorks well in a fast paced team driven environmentThinks ahead and anticipates needs based on prior experiences; makes an effort to act in advance either to prepare for a situation or to prevent it.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail orientedStrong interpersonal skills and possesses a team player attitudeWhat’s in it for you?We have a strong focus on going above and beyond when it comes to caring for our team members and our communities.
