*Position Description:*
The Hammer Museum is in search of a Chief of Human Resources & Equity (CHRE) to provide strategic leadership and direction in the areas of Human Resources, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion (DEAI). As a senior member of the Museum’s management team, the CHRE is responsible for HR strategy and planning, talent management, organizational and performance management, and the direction and oversight of staff operations and HR budgets. S/he/they will craft an ongoing strategy to incorporate inclusion initiatives and racial equity best practices by collaborating across the museum with all staff to assess programs and necessary improvements and to proactively champion the continued evolution of an inclusive culture in which everyone can thrive.
