This person will be an integral member of the management team of a firm that is on the cutting edge of technology.nn nn SUMMARY nn nnThe Chief Financial Officer will direct the organization’s strategic financial planning as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, board of directors and the financial community.

To be successful, the CFO must possess the ability to make speedy but well reasoned decisions, communicate effectively, provide vision, and apply common sense to furnish solutions to daily problems and financial concerns.nn nn Chief Financial Officer Job Duties: nn nn
– Accomplishes finance human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation strategies.nn nn
– Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.nn nn
– Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.nn nn
– Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.nn nn
– Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.nn nn
– Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.nn nn
– Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community.nn nn
– Reports financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.nn nn
– Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.nn nn
– Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.nn nn EXPERIENCE REQUIRED nn nn
– Strong background in navigating organizations through rapid change and significant growth.nn nn
– Significant years of financial experience culminating in a high powered CFO role with a history of making bold decisions.nn nn
– Pre and Post IPO experience is essential.nn nn
– Significant exposure to Wall Street analysts with the ability to enlighten the street about the merits ofnn nn
– Experience working with SEC filings.nn nn
– Extensive background in writing and implementing business plans.nn nn
– Well experienced in M & A analysis, including valuations, business and financial models and negotiating skills.
