With an immediate opening available for a diligent, strong Accounting Manager, Robert Half Finance is seeking an individual who is eager to work for a growing, industry-leading company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. Key responsibilities

– Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

– Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

– Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

– Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

– Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

– Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

– Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

Job Requirements:
– CPA or MBA preferred

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

– Solid technology and analytical abilities

– Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

– Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

– Recent relevant financial experience

– Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

– Foundational knowledge in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

– Account reconciliation experience

– Proven knowledge of financial reporting

– Strong familiarity with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

– Knowledge of general ledger

– Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
