Bilingual HR Administrative Assistant

General HR Perform clerical and administrative tasks in support of all HR functions utilizing phone, computer, fax, files, and other office tools.

Greet visitors and assist in providing services to internal and external customers.

Answer phone and direct calls.

Prepare documents, handbooks, brochures, stocking HR lobby forms, etc.

Process invoices, create gift cards for associates, order supplies.

Perform other assignments, as needed.

Benefits Assist with organizing and coordinating various HR/company events and activities throughout the year.

Assist with benefits enrollment, preparing benefits packages, answer associate general questions.

Recruitment Administer and manage the uniform program for associates.

Assist with New Hire onboarding, as needed.

Assist in communications on internal job postings and recruitment events, as needed.

Employee Relations Update Organizational Charts and send notifications.

Safety Maintain and update the fire drill rosters monthly, create equipment certification cards, etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual (English and Spanish) Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional presentation Attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Must be able to maintain confidentiality Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher) One year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work in a seated position for a majority of the workday up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

(Extended hours may be required as necessary) Occasionally work a variety of hours (days, evenings, nights, weekends) Occasionally walk, stand, climb, kneel, and stoop intermittently up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, (Extended hours may be required as necessary) Work in an environment that contains: Variable temperatures and humidity Exposure to dust, dirt, and noise Exposure to moving conveyors and moving equipment See, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper safety conditions Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, writing, typing, and/or word processing (with computer), filing, calculating and use of telephone Demonstrate cognitive ability to: Follow directions and routines Work independently with appropriate judgement Exhibit spatial awareness Read words and numbers Concentrate, memorize, and recall Identify logical connections and determine sequence of response Process up to 2-3 steps ahead
