Private Accounting Solutions (PAS) Associates serve as members of various client service teams. Associates are responsible for the daily accounting and monthly, quarterly or annual financial close process. Associates receive both formal and on-the-job training to hone and develop their technical and analytical skills.

Associates responsibilities include:

  • Accounting and general ledger functions, such as data entry, reconciling of accounts, as well as performing basic accounting research and written conclusions;
  • Maintenance of work papers in accordance with enacted processes and guidelines;
  • Preparation of financial statements; and
  • Communication with Senior Associations and Managers to clarify accounting-related issues, procedures and policies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM;
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0;
  • Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills;
  • Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; and
  • Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication.
