Assoc Director of Finance System Integration

The Associate Director of Finance – System Integration will act as functional lead for Finance in the PennforFinance project and work closely with the Corporate and Entity Finance teams along Pennfor Project team as we transform services enabled by the integrated Infor cloud platform.

Work closely with Finance leadership teams in the development of standardized processes and procedures by using a common set of metrics, data reporting and security while implementing leading practices that integrate and centralize capabilities across Finance and Supply Chain.

Accountabilities
• Provide strategic direction for delivery of all aspects of a business process
• Activity and task management, progress tracking, and business and technical issue resolution for UPHS activities
• Lead design and implementation of new business processes from functional perspective and align organization across UPHS.

Includes system process requirements, conversion requirements, and high-level interface requirements.

• Assisting in developing process related deliverables and possible document creation for UPHS activities
• Assist in resolving issues / risks as requested
• Lead training delivery efforts with end users
• Provide subject matter expertise on UPHS process and business procedures
• Complete data cleanse activities in accordance with project timeline
• Responsible for data validation of all converted data in pertinent functional areas
• Develop high priority reports using standard reporting tools
• Attend design and testing session as needed
• Perform change agent duties in accordance with project needs
• Assist in configuration as available
• Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization Minimum Requirements: Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Related field
• Master’s degree preferred in MBA; Accounting; Healthcare Administration
• 8 years of professional experience in Finance; Financial Reporting; Accounting is required
• 3 years of Supervisory experience required
• 5 years of professional experience with complex organization or Academic Health System preferred Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
• CPA license preferred Required Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, GASB and FASB statements and standards
• Strong financial/business acumen
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed structure
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of monthly financial statement closing processes including variance and flux analyses
• Knowledge of business planning, modeling, concepts and tools
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
