Assistant Vice President, Private Equity Sales

nnOur Client is a publicly traded, 3PL that holds a commanding position in the Transportation Industry.

They are seeking a self-starter to join as the Assistant Vice Present, Private Equity Sales.

You will be responsible for assisting Private Equity Firms in identifying cost saving opportunities within the supply chains of their portfolio companies in a team selling environment.

In addition, you will be responsible for presenting the appropriate solutions from a suite of services and obtaining, developing, and growing market share with new or underdeveloped customers.nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities: nn Research, identify, and obtain large high priority target customers using all company product lines and modes.

80% of time spent targeting potential and new customers.

Continuously strengthen relationships and build market share at recently acquired accounts by cross-selling company product lines and modes.

Lead the strategy development, implementation, and execution of target accounts.

Align customers with the appropriate internal department.

Attend key networking and tradeshow events.

Utilize social selling techniques such as LinkedIn, Eloqua, and Avention to expand network.

Stay up to date on industry events and initiatives to effectively communicate them to assigned customers and targeted accounts.

Maintain updated online pipeline and meeting notes in the CRM system.

nn n nn nn Qualifications: nn Undergraduate Degree, with major or significant coursework in Transportation, Sales, Marketing, or Communications.

Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience.

Strong social selling media experience is preferred.

Strong PE network is required.

Prior experience selling to the senior level at large ($1B+) companies.

Ability to provide creative recommendations relative to closing on targeted strategic accounts.

Ability to travel.

Logistics/Transportation experience a plus but not required.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, within all levels of the organization.
