Assistant Production Accountant

Who you areThe Assistant Production Accountant works within the content dep and helps bridge finances and bookkeeping with the finance department. You should have a great attitude, be ego-free, hungry to learn, and have superb communication skills. Passion for film production and/or gaming is a plus. Having knowledge in excel and/or proper bookkeeping/accounting software is required.What you’ll doProcess paperwork, receipts, and organize expenses accurately in a timely mannerCoding all jobs with hours worked (via weekly timesheets)Managing and tracking independent contracts for finance dep Accounts Payable to vendorsProcess purchases via Divvy receipt softwareJournal entries as requestedComply with all procedures for invoices, checks, and timecard approvalsElevate problems to finance dep as necessaryProvide finance dep with possible solutions to problems presented in content productionsIdentify possible job inefficienciesCommunicate clearly, concisely, accurately, and professionally with multiple parties (ie: finance dep, freelancers, vendors, etc)Understand SAG payroll as neededMust be able to maintain confidentiality on all docs.
