Serving a large customer base spanning the Government and Commercial sectors, Al Dahra has a widespread geographic footprint, with a workforce of 5,000 employees, operating in over 20 countries and catering to more than 45 markets, with a leading position in Asia and the Middle East.nn nnTo learn more, click here: nn nn nn nn What You’ll Do: nn nn nn Bring structure to inventory accounting, general ledger accounting, cost accounting, closing, consolidation and report processes as appropriate to fulfill the needs of the organization Demonstrate thorough knowledge of GAAP, IFRS accounting principles Entity Consolidation, Eliminations, manage intercompany transactions and accounts Prepare Consolidated Financial Statement, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations for all balance sheet and provision accounts Assist Controller in the preparation of all prepared by client (PBC) schedules for year-end audit and tax preparation purposes Prepare quarterly sales and use tax returns, prepare annual property tax returns Maintain and monitor internal controls and train staff on internal control compliance Perform Fixed Assets accounting, analyze actual vs.

budget Capex Perform plant cost, overhead, labor, supply variance analysis Monitor and assess inventory costing and obsolescence Review accounting processes and recommend changes as needed Prepare or review statutory filings to local, state and federal agencies timely and accurately Maintain a comprehensive set of accounting policies and procedures Perform back-up for key activities of Controller Mentor and assist accounting staff n n Job Requirements: n nn What You’ll Need: nn BA/BS in Accounting/Finance required; CPA candidates desired 5 years of previous experience with leading/mentoring accounting staff Strong GAAP, IFRS and Accrual basis accounting background preferred Audit experience is preferred Advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel Previous ERP software experience required Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills required Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-entity environment
