Job Description: Immediate need for a financial controller for a well known wholesale produce company.
The Controller is responsible for accurate, complete and timely reporting of all financial transactions, including verification and reconciliation to ensure that underlying financial transactions support financial reporting, both reports provided to internal users (ownership and leadership) as well as external users (notably CPAs and bank and other financial institutions).
The Controller is responsible for the development, enhancement and implementation of internal controls that ensure company assets are safeguarded.
This includes regular review of Produce Pro audit reports and follow up to address issues identified.
The controller will identify and implement process improvements and tactics that drive that drive efficiency and improve performance.
Qualifications : Looking for candidates with 5+ years of financial controller, Bilingual Spanish a plus, Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and will be trained in company?s ERP system, ability to handle stressful situations maintaining a calm and professional demeanor..
