We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Financial Operations department in Los Angeles and be part of our fast-paced, collaborative, innovative social-first digital agency.

Highly organized, highly motivated, goal and detail-oriented self-starter who is looking to jump in and embrace the Agency’s Financial Operations team structure and responsibilities. Someone who is all about hustle, flexibility, and adaptability in a highly challenging, positive, rewarding environment.

The task at hand?

Work with Financial Department leadership, as well as cross-functional partnership with Accounting, Client Services and Project Management teams to understand business priorities and portfolio-specific financial needs

Own the end to end invoicing process using Netsuite (ERP), from invoice creation to ensuring client’s payments occur timely and accurately

Coordinate with Treasury to assist in following up on any overdue client payments and/or provide explanations regarding those outstanding payments

Support Financial Director throughout the monthly closing process to ensure monthly invoicing has been completed and tracked to support revenue being recorded

Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure processing of payment has been made to our vendors and the relevant PO process has been followed

Participate in project wrap meetings, when applicable, to provide context and ensure projects can be fully closed out (impacts revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable and WIP releases)

Understand and review agency budgets and scope of works (SOWs) to ensure financial invoicing details and payment terms are accurate

Ad hoc projects, including, but not limited to; budget analysis, agency costs tracking, etc.

The ideal candidate has:
0-1 years of post-college or relevant internship experience within a digital agency environment in a project management, finance, or business operations capacity

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables and Vlookups will be your best friends)

Strong ability to partner with cross-functional teams and address business concerns in a diplomatic fashion

Expert at being able to prioritize and organize workflows to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

A cool, calm, and collected approach to problem-solving

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work both independently, and as a part of a team

Experience with Netsuite and/or Adaptive Insights considered a plus
