The group provides investors with investment and advisory solutions across leading hedge fund managers, private equity funds, secondaries, GP stakes, real estate managers, public equity and fixed income strategies.With over 350 professionals across 11 offices globally, the AIMS Group helps institutional and individual investors with their program design, manager diligence, portfolio construction and risk management.

The investment solutions in AIMS have a long history and our programs have seeded and partnered with many of the world’s most prominent alternative investment managers.Today, AIMS oversees over $300 billion across portfolios of both customized and commingled fund solutions as one of the world’s broadest, deepest and longest-standing open architecture programs.

We manage globally diversified programs, targeted sector-specific strategies, customized portfolios, and a range of advisory services.

Our investors generally access opportunities through new fund commitments, secondary market investments, co-investments, seed capital investments, investment manager equity / revenue share stakes, or fund of fund solutions.The AIMS Platform Management team broadly is responsible for portfolio implementation and trading, liquidity management, executing equity and currency hedging programs, portfolio construction and monitoring, external manager on-boarding, private market deal closings, overseeing the business control framework as well as a number of important strategic initiatives.

The team works closely with the investment and client portfolio solutions areas within AIMS, and with functional teams across the broader firm including Controllers, Operations, Engineering, Legal and Compliance.

Within Platform Management, specific teams focus on discrete activities such as valuations, customized client reporting and analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: RESPONSIBILITIESKey contributor to the Portfolio Services function which is responsible for AIMS business operations that includes customized client reporting, level 3 valuations, analytics, data management and document management.Perform monthly and quarterly valuation analyses for level 3 assets including private company investments, revenue share agreements, and other complex private equity and hedge fund investments.Assess new investments for appropriate valuation and accounting treatment and perform oversight of external valuation agents.Review data and compile bespoke reporting for institutional clients.Create and review analyses on funds related to performance, exposure and concentrations, diversification, etc.Ensure all investment and fund performance and exposure data is captured and accurately stored in appropriate systems, including investigation and resolution of data exceptions.Respond to requests from senior management and clients relating to funds and portfolio.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design and implement processes that automate manual workflows and meet customized reporting/regulatory requirements from clients.Delegate and review work performed by team members.Contribute to a range of AIMS group-wide initiatives and analysis including business development initiatives, process re-engineering, and system enhancement/replacement.For all of these activities, work in conjunction with the other areas of the AIMS group and broader Firm, including the Investment Team, Controllers, Operations, Client Reporting, Strats and Technology teams.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSAt least 5 years of overall experience in a relevant role; preferably within alternative investments but not requiredBachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldDesire to develop an in-depth understanding of private market investment structures and platformDemonstrated orientation toward managing time sensitive and business critical initiativesStrong interpersonal, analytical and communication skillsDemonstrated technical capabilitiesDetail orientedStrong organizational skills to oversee production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframesAbility to work effectively as part of a teamProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
