nnThe Accounting & Reporting Advisory Experienced Senior Associate is responsible for understanding complex accounting and reporting matters and assisting companies with the proper application of accounting standards for both public and private companies.
This role assists companies with the implementation of new accounting standards as well as other accounting and reporting related projects.
This role also assists with training on accounting and reporting related matters both internal and external.nn nnQualificationsnn nnEducation:nn nn
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics or another related field, requirednn nnExperience:nn nn
– Three (3) or more years of experience in public accounting, required
– Supervisory experienced, preferrednn nnLicense/Certifications:nn nn
– CPA certification, preferrednn nnSoftware:nn nn
– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, preferred
– Experience with accounting research databases, preferrednn nnOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:nn nn
– Solid understanding and proficiency of accounting standards and reporting requirements for public companies
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Superior written and verbal communication skills
– Advanced knowledge of GAAP and SECnn
