To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for a motivated and driven U.S. Accounting Manager to join our team in New York or Los Angeles.
Your Tasks – Paint the world green
You will play a key role in a lean, high-performing Finance team that oversees bookkeeping & accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis. Primary responsibilities will include:
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including A/P, GL, and bank account reconciliation
Manage the monthly close process and ensure timely and accurate financial statement preparation and generation of the monthly reporting package in accordance with U.S. GAAP & IFRS
Drive continuous process improvement and automation efforts to streamline Accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and internal controls
Assist with sales and corporate tax compliance in cooperation with our tax advisors and European headquarters
Assist with budgeting and forecasting and ad hoc financial analyses
If needed, manage and own the implementation of new tools or software
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
Finance and accounting professional with 3-5 years of experience, ideally in a high growth start-up or fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experience with financial close, including review and reconciliation of P&L and BS accounts
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks Online and Oracle Cloud would be a plus)
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting, IFRS knowledge is a plus
Excited and proactive about process improvement and automation
