We are a leading asset management firm, expanding our team and adding on a Corporate Accounting Manager to support our accounting team. This newly created position will play a crucial role in managing and leading a team of 7-8 accountants, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.
- Oversee technical accounting ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606), lease accounting standards (ASC 842) and consolidations (ASC 810).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
- Supervise and lead a team of 7-8 accountants, providing guidance and support in day-to-day activities.
- Ad hoc project as requested including capital calls and distributions and system enhancements/implementations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license is required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting within asset management, private equity or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Supervising or management experience a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation: Salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and alignment with the opportunity. Target hiring range is $130,000 – $150,000 annually + discretionary bonus.
Work type: Hybrid, one day remote, 4 days in office
