Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting and financial reporting team in partnership with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
Lead process improvement efforts to increase the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of the team.
Drive the monthly close process; coordinate with other teams to ensure timely recording of transactions and the completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement process improvements to accelerate close timelines.
Coordinate the accounting & financial reporting team’s preparation of audit schedules.
Qualifications
4+ years of public accounting experience at either Big 4 or large regional firm Must have an active CPA Knowledge of technical accounting, specifically revenue recognition and consolidations
