Position Details: We are partnered exclusively with a $1.5B med device/tech conglomerate in search of a newly created Accounting Manager.

This position will be involved in all things fixed assets and revenue accounting related while overseeing a team of 3 direct reports (2 Staff Accountants Senior Accountant) This is truly an amazing culture of such smart yet humble people with great attitudes and awesome personalities.

Rarely ever in excess of 40 hours/week Required: CPA license is required (or very highly preferred).

5 years of accounting experience (open to public accounting (Audit) or combo of audit and private industry).

Very good communication Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and supervise three (3) staff and senior accountants.

Oversee fixed assets and revenue accounting Lead the month-end close process, review journal entries, balance sheet recs, and perform complex tasks involved in interfacing / reporting systems & accounting transactions into the GL.

Play a proactive role in process improvement initiatives.

Manage and review complex account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly accounted.

Prepare & review schedules for monthly, quarterly, & annual financial reporting.

Lead and/or be involved in special projects (sometimes partnering with multiple department managers); Be one of the POC’s for external auditors; prepare schedules.
