Downtown Los Angeles based company looking for an experienced full-time accounting clerk. The employee will be in charge overseeing all day-to-day real estate transactions from billing to collections.
Responsibilities:
-Record financial transactions (including correctly booking transactions based on accounting principles)
-Manage accounts payable and receivable for a variety of property types
-Reconcile bank statements
-Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data
-Assist in a variety of other tasks, which will vary on a day-to-day basis
Qualifications:
-Candidate must have minimum of two years’ experience with real estate
-Knowledge of accounting principles
-Ability to continually learn and apply new ideas, theories, and skills
-Strong organization and communication skills
-Detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
-Experience in real estate or property management (definite plus)
– QuickBooks (mandatory)
