The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years of purchasing experience, a Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
Purchasing in a manufacturing environment is a huge plus for this role.
Responsibilities will include strategic planning, operational execution, and management of vendors and also areas to ensure plant goals and objectives are achieved.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are desired.
This procurement/purchasing position is a direct hire full time opportunity that offers a full benefits package.

Job Requirements:
– Excellent data entry skills
– AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
– Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
– Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
– Solid understanding of Purchasing Activities
– Strategic planning experience required
– Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel
– Quality experience with Microsoft Excel
– Well-founded grasp of Manufacturing Company
– Supply Chain Modules experience highly desired
– Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
– Practical knowledge of Raw Materials
– General familiarity with manufacturing
– Strong familiarity with Supply Chain Logistics
