Our client, a leading financial consulting firm, is seeking an Accounting Associate with a CPA or eligibility to obtain a CPA license to join their team in Scottsdale, Arizona. The firm specializes in providing comprehensive financial services to clients across various industries. As an Accounting Associate, you will work closely with clients to provide expert financial advice and guidance, including accounting, tax, and financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities:
Assist clients in financial analysis and planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
Perform financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
Conduct internal control reviews and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Assist in the preparation of business valuations and feasibility studies.
Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial services to clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Active CPA license or eligibility to obtain a CPA license.
years of experience in public accounting or financial consulting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients and team members.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
