We are currently seeking a talented Accounting Assistant to report and record ticket sales, prepare deposits and reconcile bank accounts. The Accounting Assistant will report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and should be a fan of increasing and expanding their knowledge of accounting best practices.Responsibilities• Prepare and verify daily reports• Prepare daily income/sales and prepare daily journal entry• Prepare daily deposits of ticket sales receipts• Reconcile bank accounts for ticketing office, retail, and other sales report• Communicate with others managing accounting, inventory, and retail systems issues• Prepare authorized refund vouchers• Compile monthly reports• Investigate and collect returned items• Maintain returned check accounts• Maintain chargeback accounts• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules• Assist with quarterly audit and compliance reviewsQualifications• High School degree or equivalent; 4-year college degree preferred• Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft Excel required• Solid grasp of accounting best practicesJob Type: Full-timeExperience:• Accounting: 2 years (Required)Education:• Associate (Required)Location:• Los Angeles, CA (Required)
