Job Summary CANOGA is looking for a shipping and packaging clerk to join our team.
Shipping and packaging clerk cell is the location where the initial packaging of the product is done prior to shipping.
This position requires a person to manage the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies being distributed.
What you’ll do Receive and process material orders on a daily basis Ensure all the testing and inspection has been completed for all items on sales orders.
Ensure all products are appropriately configured to meet the requirements of the sales order.
Serve as back-up for the Shipping Clerk.
Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients who are receiving goods.
Accurately package, label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges.

They will frequently move heavy boxes up to 50 pounds and need to maintain fitness to do so without injury.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Must Have The successful candidate must have: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
