Position will start off as remote/work from home and return to office next year (2022) – Must live near Woodland Hills, CA area
- PAY RATE: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (possible increase after 90 days)
- HOURS: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday no weekends -8am to 5pm shift
Pharmacy Technician Details
- Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.
- Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.
- Escalate questions regarding prescription for interpretation or provide direction on process
Job Requirements:
Required:
- Must have a CA State Pharmacy Technician License clear and active
- 1+ years of experience in a Windows based computer utilizing Microsoft Offices.
- Prefer Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions
Preferred:
- Certified as a Pharmacy Technician and have clear and active pharmacy tech license. Certification Active under PTCB or ExCPT.
